1.Navigate to the Microsoft authenticator site on your laptop or phone web browser: Aka.ms/mfasetup and sign in with your Tectonic Credentials
2. Select "I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now" link at the bottom
Step 3: Select your preferred alternative sign in method, this could be Calling your cellphone number, texting your cellphone number or emailing your personal Gmail accounting depending on how the account is setup. If you do not have any alternative options apart from " Approve request" and "Use verification code" Contact IT
Step 4: Once logged into the account delete any unused devices the account may still have. You should only have 1 if you use a phone strictly
Step 5: Once your devices are deleted, you can now add a new device. Click add Sign-in Method at the top of the list and select Microsoft Authenticator
Step 6: Just click next, and it will take you to scan a QR code (Must have an external device, if you are using the cellphone you can click on the link at the bottom.
Step 7 (Mobile Only - Cellphones): Click on pair this account by clicking this link. Note: that you need authenticator installed on the device for this function to work.
